- Paul Hills Added 2017-12-05★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is our favorite camp ground. It is a tenting only, walk in camp ground with access to drinking water and pit toilets. The walk from the car to camp site is about a kilometer, but they have carts to help you get all your gear to your site. It is a great introduction to hike in camping without needing all the gear. Most campers here are using the camp ground as their first stop of a multi-night back country trek, but that is not necessary as there are great hikes you can do using Takakkaw as your base camp.
