    One of my worst hotel experiences, absolute waste of money. I never review, am not a picky guest, but felt like I needed to let people know about this place. Let me say the lake is absolutely beautiful, nothing wrong there. However, the staff, amenities, rooms, and management of this place are all subpar. We came here to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it turns out my in-laws paid to have wine and cheese waiting for us in the room. We didn't find out until after our weekend at Emerald Lake, because the staff never put these gifts in our room. They literally stole money from my wife's parents. That, alongside uncaring staff, broken hot tubs (which the hotel didn't care enough about to apologize for even though it's their only amenity) and the mirror breaking off our wall at midnight (again, no apology for the disturbance, just told us we wouldn't be held responsible) made for a terrible stay. Do yourself and your wallet a favor by avoiding this place. Go the lake for a day trip, it really is beautiful, but DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
